WRITING
Writing is an important part of film-making, brand work, and photography that is often overlooked. Knowing the story you are trying to tell, and being able to communicate it concisely is at the core of story telling no matter what medium an artist is working in.
My goal with writing is always to communicate ideas accessibly to an intended audience. These ideas range from the emotional, nebulous and broad, in my poetry and essays, to the specific and detailed in my script writing.
Visual Poetry
Within everything I do artistically, there is a specifically intended visual component. This often expresses itself uniquely through my writing as I experiment with texture and media to try to communicate the story with care and consideration for the reader. Pushing boundaries in this way allows me to add an element to my work that stands apart from other writers. This carries through in brand work, photography and cinematography, as the consideration of the viewer is at the core of each of these disciplines.
